Personal Statement: 

An accomplished Administrator of Behavioral Health Services with 24 years of healthcare experience with expertise in Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health administration and program development, facility construction and retro-fit projects, and accreditation compliance.  Charity has been published in multiple national and international professional journals and has been a speaker and presenter at multiple healthcare forums and conferences.  Charity is currently the past president of the Washington chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).  She leads program development, quality, compliance, and leadership teams to provide exceptional patient services that meet evolving community needs. With repeated success managing ambitious projects and programs, including designing and implementing Behavioral Health facilities, developing and implementing emergency protocols, process improvements, and operational changes. Charity’s leadership has resulted in service line growth, the launch of innovative new programs, and an unparalleled quality of care. In addition, she is able to leverage expertise in legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance, from leading site visits and accreditation surveys to advising hospital staff on complex compliance matters.
